Staywell Health is a membership-based direct primary care practice in Raleigh, built around real access to your provider and care that goes deeper than a rushed visit.
Daniel founded Staywell Health after nine years in family medicine convinced him that good care needs time, not just a diagnosis code. He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing from UNC Wilmington, and has cared for patients across the lifespan and traditional primary care settings before opening his own practice.
As the sole clinician at Staywell, every membership means working with the same provider who knows your history, your goals, and how you actually want to feel. No hand-offs, no rushed visits, no cookie-cutter protocols.
Extended appointments and direct communication mean your care evolves as your goals do, whether that's everyday primary care, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, or getting to the bottom of a stubborn symptom.
Staywell's philosophy centers on finding and addressing the root cause, not just managing symptoms, through an integrative approach to your whole health picture.
Extended appointments mean we actually have room to hear the full story before jumping to a plan.
We look past the symptom to what's driving it, using thorough lab work and a whole-person view.
Text or email your provider directly between visits. Real questions get real, timely answers.

Staywell Health sits along the Falls of the Neuse in Raleigh, North Carolina, within the ancestral territory of the Tuscarora (Skaruhreh) Nation, who lived, hunted, and traded throughout this region for centuries before European colonization.
Following the Tuscarora War of 1711 to 1715, many Tuscarora were killed, enslaved, or displaced. Most survivors migrated north to join the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederacy, while others remained in North Carolina, where the Tuscarora Nation of North Carolina continues today. We also honor the Shakori, Occaneechi, Lumbee, Catawba, and Cheraw peoples whose presence shaped this broader region.
As a practice rooted in whole-person care, we believe wellness is inseparable from the land and communities that sustain us.
